Glorious Gingham

Dress: Elise Design                 Kayla's Dress: Self Made!
Hair Bow: eBay                            Hair Bow: eBay
Shoes: Novo                                 Shoes: Target

This outfit somehow really reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, which was completely unintentional, but I love it nonetheless. My dress from Elise Design, is so playful and I feel it would make the perfect picnic dress as its super comfy (bar the bust being a little too tight). Its super cute without a petticoat as well, and pulls off a more casual vibe. I'm wearing my light petticoat with it in these images as i feel it made it more fun and flattering to my figure.

I'm also wearing my new Velourlips shade "Doo-bai" by Australis and I'm seriously loving the shade against my hair colour. It also feels very fitting to the Autumn vibes.

This set was taken in Kayla's gorgeous backyard with all her mother's various succulents. Photos were taken by Kayla and my partner Drue, who kindly stepped in to get some shots of us together (again).

Style On a Budget

Top - Dotti ($15)
Skirt - Kmart ($10)
Hat - Local Market ($20)
Shoes - Borrowed ($0)

This is one of my all time favourite outfits, purely for the fact that it is not only cheap, it is also really easy to get your hands on. I love that it also goes really well with modern style clothes, if you're not yet entirely confident with committing to full time pinup/vintage style.

This top also goes really well with some high waisted shorts, for a different look in the warmer months, whilst also looking super cute with a pair of capris in the cooler months.

Thanks to the help of my boyfriend, I got some awesome shots with my best friend GracefullyVintage as well. She is my absolute inspiration, and the reason why I gained enough confidence to be able to share my posts with you.

Faux bob by the Ocean

Cardigan - Hell Bunny
Top - Chic Star
Belt - Bernie Dexter
Shoes - Spendless

This morning I met up with the always lovely GracefullyVintage. We went to Ocean beach and had a coffee date while we waited for the rain to stop so we could take some pictures. The rain thankfully stopped intermittently and we got these shots!

I'm in love with this red Hell Bunny cardigan, it's so soft, fits like a glove and compliments most of my outfits, I also love that the detailing is on the back rather than the front. My Chic Star top is very flattering and I'm so happy my belt from my Bernie Dexter Sundae dress matched perfectly.

After testing out a faux bob today (and falling in love with it) I'm considering cutting it to this length! I'd love to know if you agree. To grow or to chop!

Cherry Nice Woods

Cardigan - Sourpuss
Skirt - Heartbreaker/Heart of Haute

I found this gorgeous place along the river which reminded me of some sort of enchanted forest! I fell in love with the location and decided that we must try it out. I loved the versatility in the area and that it was very quiet also. I decided that my beautiful cherry skirt by Heart of Haute (formerly known as heartbreaker) and my Sourpuss cardigan were a perfect match for this cute little spot.

My wonderful friend Kayla has been helping me with my facial expressions in this set as all I like to do is smile! So I am very pleased with this shoot as I feel like I am progressing with each photo set, by trying to mix it up with my expressions and posing.

I'm super excited for the start of Autumn/Winter weather ( except for the rain) to hit us, because I really adore my cardigans and coats! I love feeling all warm and cosy, especially with a nice coffee in hand.
